Position Overview & Specifications

We’re looking for a Junior or Graduate Data Scientist to help us with a new project for our company Change My Face.

Change My Face uses AI technology to visualise one’s older self with lifestyle habits. We have an api and whitelabel app that combines lifestyle questions with seeing 10 and 20 years into the future. We are a B2B company based in Gloucestershire and aim to change health behaviours of customers around the world.

You will ideally have some knowledge or experience of the following:

Manage raw data and annotation and labelling of images

Insight into building ML models and deploying through an API

Experience / knowledge of managing AWS Infrastructure

Experience using open source frameworks such as scikit-learn, Tensorflow and PyTorch

Knowledge of building computer vision or image processing systems

General inspection of images (from a computer vision perspective)

Experience using open source libraries such as OpenCV and scikit-image (Python desirable)

Experience of software development, including software engineering best practices (such as version control and testing)

Ideally you will:
Have at least a Bachelors level degree in a numerate subject, or be very comfortable with the mathematics of data science

Be confident and comfortable writing data science code in at least one language.

Have good communication skills

Be interested in and excited about applying data and analytics to health, fitness etc

Salary and work environment

We are based in Gloucestershire, United Kingdom and are looking for the right candidate as long as you’re based in the UK. We’re happy to discuss remote working.

We’re a small team, which means that every member has a big influence on how things run and has a lot of control over the way they work.

This role is available for a specific project and will last from 6 months to a year and there is flexibility on whether you are full or part time.
