Credit Risk Manager

Our client is a fast-growing, highly visible, and well-respected commercial finance company with hubs across the world. This FinTech company provides embedded software solutions for the worlds leading and largest e-commerce platforms (eBay, Shopify etc.). Due to growth and increased global demand for their merchant financing solutions, they now have an exciting opening in London for a Credit Risk Manager.

As a Credit Risk Manager, you will:

Leverage technology and design to deliver meaningful business outcomes
Own and refine a credit risk strategy and pricing model
Work closely with Data Science, Credit Decision and Product teams
Deliver in-depth portfolio analysis
Analyse and evaluate new data sources
Drive process automation
Help enable quick entry into new markets

The ideal Credit Risk Manager will possess the following skills, traits, and experience:

4+ years in an analytical role in retail banking or FinTech
Data science and statistical/financial modelling
SQL, Python, or other data analysis languages
In-depth understanding of credit risk, SME, corporate and/or consumer
Keen to explore new data and analytical methods
Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
The ability to multi-task and thrive in a high-intensity, high-demand and on-time environment
A strong sense of urgency by responding immediately to escalated issues and rapidly changing priorities
Critical thinking, analytic, quantitative, and problem-solving skills

The successful Credit Risk Manager can expect:

An initial basic salary circa 70-85k
