Cleaner - Pool and Public Areas

At Center Parcs all our accommodation has been designed and built to the highest standards, so we need a team to uphold these standards and exceed guest expectation. Our Housekeeping team is responsible for maintaining more than 700 units of accommodation; from apartments and penthouses to Lodges and Treehouses, and looking after our public areas and office spaces, so no two days are the same. That’s why it’s the largest team on each Village.

CLEANER - POOL AND PUBLIC AREAS | £10.00 per hour

This is an exciting opportunity to join the housekeeping team working in the busy, fast paced environment of our Subtropical Swimming Pool and the PLAZA, Village Square and Sports Centre.

You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the changing rooms, patrolling and cleaning the village guest areas and welcoming guests in to the Subtropical Swimming Paradise.

The ideal candidate will ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is achieved and maintained across all areas, have a good eye for detail and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Due to the sensitive nature of this role the successful applicant will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) Check. This disclosure, together with other selection information, will need to be satisfactory to the Company for employment to commence.

HOURS OF WORK

We have the following contracts available on a flexible basis. This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. All shifts will fall between the hours of 5:30am and 10pm.

• 80 hours per 4-week period -
• 120 hours per 4-week period -
• 160 hours per 4-week period -

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Essential requirements:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• An eye for detail

Desirable requirements:

• Previous experience within the cleaning industry
