Animal Care Assistant

Cattle Country Farm Park is one of the largest tourist attractions in Gloucestershire, our Animal Barn and Farm trail are a popular attraction throughout the year and we are looking for experienced staff to join our Animal Care Team. In our Animal Barn we have calves, sheep, pigs, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, alpacas and poultry that all require daily care

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

● Feeding, cleaning out and caring for our animals that live in our Animal Barn, and along the Farm Trail

● Greeting and interacting with our visitors and running animal feeding and handling sessions

● Working with the Cattle Country Team to deliver seasonal events & activities and Educational

Visits

● Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness and ensure that all areas of The Animal Barn are well-maintained throughout the year, ready for our visitors Job Requirements:

• Professional and knowledgeable about the animals we keep

• A friendly, calm and confident manner

• Excellent customer service skills

• Enjoy working as part of a team

• A flexible approach and able to work additional hours when required

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £6.00-£11.00 per hour

• Day shift
• Holidays
• Weekend availability
