Position Overview & Specifications

Our Ideal candidate will already have experience in a commercial legal environment, with at least 2 years experience. You will be able to multi-task and be able to meet deadlines. You will also have an excellent attention to detail.

We’re a growing, and exciting business with lots of potential for someone looking to take that step into an interesting and fast paced commercial business where they can develop their career. We offer a very friendly and sociable working environment and are fully office based Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm.

As a Commercial Paralegal this role involves:

Reviewing, drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements.
Assisting with the distribution, recording, filing, and archiving of fully executed contracts and amendments
Drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements such as NDA’s, terms and conditions of supply and/or purchase, hire agreements and contracts in support of Cathay Investments operations.
Preparing information for briefs for external legal advisors.
Carrying out document searches for cases including disclosures.
Supporting the business in operational projects
Review & communicating key terms for contracts and other legal documents to managers in the business.
