SEASONAL COLLEAGUES REQUIRED - HARVEST 2023

Exciting opportunities during summer!

Camgrain is a farmer owned central storage co-operative. Harvest is our busiest time of year, as our 550 farmer members bring in a variety of crops to be tested and stored ready to be delivered to a wide range of customers.

We are currently recruiting for hard working, self-motivated and flexible team players to join Camgrain at our Stratford upon Avon site this coming Harvest between mid July – mid September.

We have Harvest Laboratory Technician and Harvest General Site Operator vacancies available.

Grain Store – Laboratory Technician

• Operate a weighbridge for both incoming and out loading lorries, recording accurate information.
• Performing a variety of tests in order for a load to enter or leave the store, working to customer specifications.
• Working as part of a diverse team, under pressure and to a deadline.
• Maintaining laboratory cleanliness.

Grain Store – General Site Operator

• Tipping and loading lorries in the correct place/ with the correct crop
• Testing crops to certain specifications
• Gathering accurate information on crop tonnage and calculating totals
• Work as part of a team, under pressure and to a deadline
• Maintaining pit and site cleanliness

The minimum hours for both positions are 40 hours per week, however, we would ask that a flexible approach be taken towards hours during the peak periods of Harvest and be available to work 50 to 60 hours during the peak periods of harvest.

Salary: £9.00-£12.00 per hour
