Duty Manager

Caer Rhun Hall is opening in Spring 2023, we are now looking to recruit the best people for our opening team.

Caer Rhun nestled in the stunning Conwy countryside will open with 32 stunning bedrooms, cosy and relaxing lounge bar, breakfast room and great event spaces.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Duty Manager to join the opening team.

The Duty Manager role will be hands-on, and will cover reception, food and beverage duties and assisting the Hotel Operations Manager in the day-to-day operation, responsible for delivering excellent guest experiences at all times.

You will also assist in the goal of maximising sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement, whilst managing costs and expenses within agreed limits.

Main Duties

Hands-on role within the F&B department and Reception also being ready to assist other departments if needed to ensure the overall hotel vision is achieved.

Ensure that the agreed standards of service are consistently delivered across the department, and customer expectations are exceeded.

Supervising the teams and assisting with recruitment, induction, training and development.

Create a “can-do” attitude amongst the team and a desire for them to identify customer need and respond proactively to that need.

As a Duty Manager you will be required to assist in the delivery of first class wedding celebrations and events

About you:

· You will ideally be a ‘hands on’ leader, with ideally extensive food and beverage experience gained in a similar role within high quality hotels.

· You will have great wine and seasonal, local food knowledge.

· You will be passionate and professional in your work, organised and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

· You will be committed to delivering high standards.

· You will be a motivated team player with great leadership skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £25,500.00-£27,500.00 per year
