Kitchen Porter - Evenings

As a Kitchen Porter, you'll be responsible for washing up, cleaning glasses and maintaining a tidy and hygienic kitchen and bar area.

It’s a small space and when we’re busy it’s important to keep on top of things while making sure everything is cleaned thoroughly. It’s important that you can work quickly and efficiently.

There may be times when you’re asked to prep food (such as cheese boards) and run it to tables. You may also be asked to take orders so you’ll need be confident in talking to people.

If you already have hospitality experience you probably know that teamwork is of the utmost importance and you'll be ready to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in with general tasks to help your colleagues out.

You'll also be asked to help with a quick and thorough clean down at the end of the evening.

It’s hard work and you will be kept on your toes but you’ll enjoy being a part of a small team in an award-winning café-bar.

We want to hire someone who’s got personality, a great attitude, and a great work ethic. This is a seasonal job so please only apply if you are able to work throughout the summer . Applications from people with more than one week holiday booked between June and September will not be considered.

Because of the hours involved, we will not be considering applications for people under the age of 18 for this particular role.
