Lifeguard

Our Splash Waterworld is an amazing subtropical environment with nearly 3,000 square metres of water, making it one of the UKs largest water parks. It features one of the tallest waterslides in Europe measuring more than seven storeys high! Our pool boasts three flumes, a wave pool, tots pools, rapids, a whirlpool, rope tunnel, and even a DJ booth!

Purpose of the role

Working in a fun and vibrant environment our lifeguards are on hand to ensure our guests are having a great time in the pool and on the flumes in our Splash Waterworld whilst overseeing their poolside safety at all times. This is a role that requires superb attention to detail whilst also interacting with our guests, providing exceptional customer service. You will promote and run poolside activities; creating memorable experiences for our guests. To take pride in the poolside surroundings and changing rooms. The role will include additional opportunities to gain new skills and knowledge across the resort in all areas of the leisure industry.

What are we looking for?

• A current RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is desirable although training is available
• Experience within leisure facilities is important, which includes environmental and reception work
• A natural ability to engage and relate with a wide range of people
• A proven track record of delivering excellent service
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability to work within a team
• Flexibility, reliability and punctuality

Other information: YOU WILL NEED TO BE ABLE TO COME TO SKEGNESS FOR A SWIM TEST.
