Company Profile:

Buddies London is a new fast food restaurant that will specialise in authentic East London Recipe for our signature Burgers, Wings & Donner. Buddies aims to be a nationwide Fast Food franchise within the next 3 years. We aim to cultivate a friendly working environment within the work place and grow our Buddies Team over the years across different roles.

About the Role:

As a very fast paced restaurant Store Manager you will help your team to be their best selves through on the job training by proactively supporting the management team to create a culture for all team members to be proud of through coaching, motivation, and engagement. Whilst running the shift, you will be responsible for following Buddies policies and procedures to ensure standards are satisfactorily maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the restaurant which means the team members effectively with strong communication and leadership and reporting directly to the shareholders,
• Utilise Company tools and reports so that the Restaurant provides an excellent level of customer service

• Though exceptional operational and hygiene standards and approaches to customer service, consistently seek to maximise the sales for the restaurant

• Maximise the profitability of the restaurant by understanding and controlling all Restaurant costs (e.g. salaries, buying food etc)
• Hiring and Off Boarding staff where required

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in running a very fast paced restaurant such as KFC/McDonald's or similar
• Excellent educational background (Business Management, Preferred)
• Have Excellent written and verbal english communication skills
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel effectively to generate reports and spreadsheets

• Previous experience managing a diverse workforce (front and back of house)
• Being diplomatic and managing relationships effectively such as local Residents, Immediate neighbours, Landlords and the Authorities
• Passionate about FOOD and delivering great customer service
• Experience in developing, leading and coaching a team to improve performance (front of house and back of house)
• Ability to effectively plan, organise and manage and anticipate well ahead
• Understanding of latest HR Practices
• Have food Hygiene Certification (Desired)
• Implement new policies where required and ensure the policies are upheld
• Have a very good understanding about latest marketing trends such as TikTok / Instagram
• Be very organised and thorough (we embrace OCD)
• Ability to create or assist with creation of Menu with Executive Chef
• Cashing up and daily reports
• Lead by example
• Help the team where required either the front of house or the kitchen
• Reporting to the Director on site

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £35,000.00 per year
