Position Overview & Specifications
Our well established client is a forward-thinking law firm and they are looking for a Personal Assiatant to work directly with the Practice Manager. They respect contributions made by each member of the team. Career development is of paramount importance to them. They are looking for a friendly individual with a can-do attitude to support the Practice Manager in all aspects of operational support to ensure the smooth running of the firm. The successful candidate will ideally have some experience of practice management in a law firm or have worked in a professional environment.
The responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Convene meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes
- Assist with the recruitment process
- Responsible for employee absence management
- Assist with the review of policies and procedures
- Assist with HR meetings such as probation, appraisal, and review meetings
- Responsible for providing employee onboarding
- Responsible for arranging company events alongside the social committee
- First point of contact for premises issues
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Well-organised with strong time management skills
- Ability to build and maintain professional working relationships
- Good attention to detail and able to use their own initiative
- Prior experience in a similar role is desirable
Working from home is available after 6 months.
This position is not suitable for Law graduates looking for legal experience.

Salary: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
