HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver

Blue Recruitment Personnel are currently recruiting for Class 2 HIAB Drivers to work for a well established company in Banbury.

The role involves driving Class 2 Vehicles ( split gear box ) operating the remote grab crane ( Brick / Grab Attachment required) to complete the customer deliveries to various sites, private addresses, and new developments.

Duties:

➢ Daily vehicle safety checks
➢ Compliance with legislation - drivers hours, highway regulations
➢ Checking vehicle loads are secure
➢ Delivering builders materials and other products

Requirements:

➢ Full UK driving licence ( Category C ) with no more than 6 points
➢ Up-to-date CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
➢ HIAB Certificate is required - Brick / Grab Attachment
➢ You must be able to operate the remote grab crane on delivery/collection
➢ No major traffic offences - No DR,DD,TT99 or NI codes accepted

Your HIAB Certificate must be accredited by one of the below bodies:

➢ ALMI - Association of Lorry Loaders, Manufacturers, and Importers
➢ RTITB - Road Transport Industry Training Board
➢ ITSSAR - Independent Training Standards Scheme and Register
➢ AITT - Association of Industrial Truck Trainers
➢ NPORS - National Plant Operators Registration Scheme
➢ CPCS - Construction Plant Competence Scheme

Working Hours:

➢ Monday to Friday
➢ Start times vary from 06:00 AM to 08:00 AM
➢ 8 hours shift guaranteed

PPE Required:

➢ Hard Hat with a chin strap
➢ Safety Boots
➢ Hi-Vis Vest
