Cleaner

At Blossom Tree Montessori, we are recruiting for a Cleaner to join our warm and friendly team. We are looking for someone who is organised, time efficient and hard working. The working hours will be Monday to Friday (2 days from 5pm-9pm and 3 days from 5pm to 6:30pm - hours can be adjusted slightly if needed).

A little about Blossom Tree Montessori:

• We first opened our Northwood branch in July 2019 and have expanded the nursery twice since opening.
• Our Eastcote branch is our second branch to open in May 2023 which we are very excited about!

Roles and Responsibilities:

Cleaning the whole nursery for 2 days per week which includes the following:

• Taking the bin bags out to the bins
• Hoovering all floors
• Mopping all floors
• Cleaning bathrooms - ensuring the sinks and toilets are clean
• Wiping down and disinfecting of surfaces and frequent touch points
• Dusting in the corners of the room, ensuring all cobwebs are cleared

Washing of dishes and laundry - 5 days per week

• Putting dishes through the dishwasher. All dishes would be rinsed prior to this. Ensuring all dishes are dry and put back in the correct classrooms box
• Putting the laundry on to wash and dry on a daily basis. This may not need to be done every day but will need to be kept on top of

What we would ask from you:

• Previous experience working as a cleaner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• To be passionate, motivated, have the ability to use own initiative.
• To be hard working and dedicated.

We take safeguarding very seriously and a current and clean Disclosure Barring Services (DBS) Certificate is essential.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 12.5 per week

Salary: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
