The Role:

The successful candidate will:

• Be assessed in terms of capability and learning and adaptability.
• A specific tailored learning program will be devised and a mentor provisded to guide the candidate through the steps of each project
• The candidate will work closely with senior engineers on Design, Production processes and Machine Programming
• Support the engineering, production and sale teams
• Carry out testing and development of products or the customisation of current equipment to suit their specific needs .
• Hands on operation of machines to gain understanding of the manufacturing processes
• Clear career paths provide for bright and capable candidates
• The opportunity to develop managements skils alongside engineering
• Some travel may be required

Essential Requirements:

• Desire to learn a new skill
• Level 5, HND or degree or Masters in Design, Mechanical Engineering, Land Based technologies or equivalent
• Have some industrial experience &/or industrial product design
• Demonstrate a natural “hands on” engineering mind set for strong team problem solving
• Ability to think on their feet
• Good problem solving abilities
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• 3D CAD experience ideally in SolidWorks

Desirable

• Previously worked within an engineering, manufacturing, production or joinery environment
