An exciting opportunity has become available within our expanding Adult Social Care Performance, Assurance and Systems Team. We are looking to recruit a hardworking and highly motivated individual. This is a great opportunity to develop your technical skills, and to expand your existing adult social care knowledge.
You will be working alongside the core social work teams, as well as the wider department, fulfilling a vital role supporting us in striving to achieve an outstanding CQC rating. Given the current focus around assurance across the department, this is the perfect time for you to take this opportunity and nurture the role into an integral support and assurance framework for Adult Social Care.
One of the fist projects you will lead on is creating and implementing a “what does good look like” group. You will work closely with your performance and system colleagues to design changes, and support the frontline Social Work Teams in adopting change, acting as a link between front line and system support.
In this role you will be administrating and completing case file audits, quality assurance audits, and working with various levels of management to inform plans for change, resulting in the improvement of departmental performance and resident experiences.
You should have a great attention to detail and exceptional communication skills. You will work on initiative to identify areas for improvement, be confidant to challenge current practise and to propose and support the implementation of change.
This permanent post offers flexible working arrangements (in line with business need), blended working opportunities, excellent terms & conditions, holiday & bank holiday entitlements and an index linked pension scheme.
If you are looking for a role which is both challenging and rewarding, working alongside a supportive, multi-skilled team then we would like to hear from you.
Professional qualification/relevant degree or substantial in-depth experience in appropriate professional/specialist area is an essential requirement of the role.
If you would like further information please see the key requirements document attached to the role, also please feel free to contact becky.sharif@blackburn.gov.uk
