Warehouse Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative in Farnham Royal (Slough). This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an ever-growing team.

The successful candidate will join as part of our warehouse team with duties including picking/packing orders, building kits, stock replenishment, loading/unloading vans, lorries, and containers, keeping all warehouse areas organised and tidy.

This role would ideally suit someone who would like to start a career or already in logistics/warehousing, willing to learn our catalogue of products, work well with the existing team and be fit and able to carry out tasked asked of them without supervision.

Duties and responsibilities;

Ensuring customer orders are accurately fulfilled and are packed to a high standard prior to shipment as well as being responsible for hitting packing targets and for working in a health and safety compliant way in the warehouse. Their other duties and responsibilities include:

· Locating the correct goods as per customer’s order

· Using warehouse equipment to move goods from storage to packing area

· Inspecting good for damage and faults before they are packed

· Using industrial packing materials, such as cardboard boxes, wooden pallets, and bubble wrap to package goods safely and securely

· Loading packaged goods into containers for shipment

· Ensure storage areas are kept fully stocked

· Follow health and safety polices and procedures in the warehouse.
