Position Overview & Specifications

Biodiverse Consulting launched in 2019 as passionate advocates of Biodiversity Net Gain. In
four years, we have experienced exponential growth in our business, clients and services.
Firmly established as innovative and creative problem solvers, we are moving into our next
phase of business development with a growing demand for our services across residential, retail
and renewable sectors, as well as supporting the third sector.
To meet this demand, we are looking for a talented Assistant GIS Technician for the development
of our GIS systems, templates and software within our fast-growing environmental consultancy.

You will be passionate about GIS and ready to provide key support to the team in all things
mapping: including map production for our services, geo-spatial analysis to support
environmental net gain recommendations, field survey software advice, efficient data capture
and management.

You will have demonstrable experience of using QGIS and other GIS systems and their
application in a real-world ecology setting.

Your knowledge and experience will be coupled with a creative and problem-solving mindset.

You are ambitious to further your career with a pioneering consultancy, at the forefront of
the environmental direction of travel.
