Onsite English Instructor (International Relocation Provided)

This position requires you to relocate to China for a 6 month / 12 month contract

About The Job

Students come to Berlitz not just to learn a language, but to also gain an understanding of the culture. As an English Instructor, you will work in a diverse environment that offers you the ability to proivde world class lessons on a daily basis. While working with your students, you will use the Berlitz Method of instruction to create an environment where students feel free to experiment with the language and motivate them to achieve their language goals.

We provide you with a training course where you will learn how to perform the Berlitz Method. You will also gain access to our Learning Center which will allow you to deliver successful instruction.

Responsibilities:

• Teach individual and group lessons in major cities across China like Beijing; Shanghai; Guangzhou; Tianjin;
  Chengdu etc.
• Facilitate workshops, webinars and English Corners
• Prepare and deliver lessons according to the Berlitz Method and quality standards
• Travel to and between client locations
• Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner
• 40 hour workweek, which includes all scheduled lessons (120-lesson per month, additional pay if over 120
  units per month ), travel between locations, lesson preparation and administrative tasks;

Requirements (Also the Requirements for Working Visa in China):

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2 years of working experience or a TEFL certificate (TEFL sponsorship available)
• Passport holder from one of the following countries: US, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South
  Africa
• Ability to commit to living and working abroad for at least one year
• Can provide a full background check
• Background in education or business is preferred, but not required
