About the Role:
We are looking to employ a Part-Time Personal Assistant/Carer to provide support to our Son, who has a dual diagnosis of Down’s Syndrome and Autism.
T is 11 years old, small for his age. He is a gorgeous blond blue-eyed little boy, with a cheeky sense of humour. He is generally easy going but can be stubborn. He loves his toys, food and watching the In the Night Garden and Peppa Pig. He also loves the beach and going on swings.
We are looking for someone to help on alternate Saturday’s or Sundays during the term time and 3-4 times during the week on half terms and school holidays.
Ideal Candidate:
· Previous PA/Caring experience in a similar role is essential and knowledge and/or experience of children with special needs is advantageous
· Fit and healthy
· Someone kind and genuine who in time will feel like part of the family
· Must have patience, be trustworthy and be reliable
· Full, valid driving license
· Live in the Bournemouth area
· DBS Checks will be carried out and references reviewed
