Job description

We are a Swansea based building company. For our expanding business we are looking for self-motivated Multi Traders.

Our residential/domestic and commercial construction sites are in Cardiff and the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Carrying out work efficiently and to the highest standard
• Compiling a material list based on job description
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy
• Informing office of any predicted shortages of materials in advance to ensure additional material orders are put in a timely manner to ensure no delays
• To be polite and respectful of the clients and the team
• Ensuring the work areas are clean at the end of the day
• Ensure all health and safety standards are met
• 1st and 2nd fix Carpentry
• Plumbing
• Tiling
• Plastering
• Brickwork
• Painting and Decorating
• Electrical works
• Good communication skills
• Trustworthy
• Professional, with good time keeping
• Presentable appearance
• Ability to work in a team and on your own initiative
• Must have qualifications in the field

Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
• CSCS card

It is essential that you work to high standards and take pride in your finish. You must be trustworthy, polite and understand the need to ensure clients are as comfortable as possible in their homes while work is ongoing. Our clients are mostly residential and we aim to offer an outstanding service.

You must be confident to take charge of a job and complete it to a high standard.

All candidates must be able to provide proof of previous work carried out on application / interview so we can assess your skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £12.00-£17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

• Cardiff: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
