Marketing Assistant

Part-time 25 hours per week (Full-time considered)

£22 – 25k pa FTE dependent on experience

33 days holiday (pro rata) and a contributory pension

Remote – homebased

As part of our ongoing Growth Plan, we are seeking to broaden our internal expertise through the appointment of a Marketing Assistant, a newly scoped and exciting role.

This will be an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about delivering results through marketing, to truly make their mark.

Your ultimate goal is to provide administrative support to the Head of Marketing, multi-tasking on a wide range of projects to increase our brand awareness and engagement within the industries and countries we operate.

IN DETAIL …

Key Tasks/ Accountabilities

· Support the Head of Marketing by undertaking administrative tasks to ensure coordination of the department’s activities

· Support with the planning, setting up and project management of stands at events and exhibitions in both the UK and Europe

· Assist with internal and external communications and promotional activities including copywriting and proofreading

· Liaise with vendors and the finance department to generate purchase orders and confirm invoices, alongside identifying and setting up new marketing suppliers

· Conduct market research activities to support ongoing commercial activities

· Update spreadsheets, databases, reports, and CRM systems with statistical, financial, and non-financial information

· Compiling and distributing departmental information including reporting on campaigns and activities and financial information

The Successful Applicant

Essential

· At least 2 years of proven experience in a marketing / business administration role

· Well-organised, with a good understanding of office management

· Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

· Excellent knowledge of MS Office programs and Teams

· Ability to work independently

· A team player able to show the highest levels of collaborative working

Desirable

· Business or marketing degree or CIM qualification

· Experience of working with a hybrid team

· Use of Salesforce and Google Analytics

· Clean driving license
