Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer:
Our client is a 62-year-old female living in the WR3 area of Worcestershire who is looking to recruit a Bank Personal Assistant to cover sickness and annual leave.
Main duties:
Social duties:
§ keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
§ attend medical appointments.
§ do hobbies such as visit the local garden centre.
Personal care: support with bathing/showering, teeth cleaning, dressing, support with medication and performing exercises/physiotherapy.
Domestic duties: support attending GP appointments. Support to access the local community.
These duties may vary from day-to-day.

§ Values: someone that is honest, reliable, punctual, non-judgemental, ability to build good relationships based on trust and respect, flexible, adaptable, easy going, able to work alone, positive, willingness to travel, understands equality and diversity and has a good sense of humour.
§ Specific requirements: Must have previous care experience. Must have manual handling training. Must be a driver with own vehicle. Must be a non-smoker.
Hours of work: Bank work – Days and times to be discussed.
Rate of pay: £10.42 per hour
Skills, qualifications, and experience
Essential:
§ driving licence
§ car and appropriate insurance
§ previous care experience
§ moving and handling trained
§ confidentiality
§ good at building relationships
Preferred:
§ computer literate
§ good communicator
§ likes dogs as there are 2 small dogs in the family home.
§ a good listener
§ ability to support people with complex care and support needs.
Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.
This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.

Part-time hours: 19 per week
Salary: £10.42 per hour
