We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Intern to join our team in Stratford on a 1-year fixed term contract. The primary responsibility of this role is to work alongside Axis’ Responsible Business Team to support the development and communication of all community investment and sustainability activity.

Key Tasks / Activities / Responsibilities

Axis seeks a CSR Intern to work alongside its Responsible Business Team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for corporate social responsibility and the benefit it brings to employees, clients, and the local community. This role will involve a lot of organisation and creative skills, it is therefore essential that you are a strong communicator and possess a positive attitude and desire to make a difference. You will be encouraged to develop writing skills, knowledge, and experience in all relevant aspects of communications and engagement. As part of your development, you will also take on responsibility for small projects to support the community investment and sustainability teams.

Key tasks include:

  • Write content for the intranet, company website and quarterly newsletter
  • Produce RB News, Axis’ monthly newsletter using MailChimp
  • Research, develop and coordinate the annual Responsible Business Calendar
  • Create e-shots advertising upcoming campaigns and events
  • Generate social media content for the Axis website, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts

Qualifications and experience:

  • GCSE 4 & above (A-C) in Maths & English or equivalent
  • Suitable for undergraduate or graduate-level student

Key skills:

  • Strong communication skills
  • A high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge and confidence to use social media platforms and develop creative content
  • Capacity to prioritise and work across multiple projects
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to network and build relationships with stakeholders
