Position Overview & Specifications

Axelera AI is a rapidly growing company developing a game-changing AI hardware and software platform to accelerate computer vision on edge devices. We have a proprietary in-memory computing and RISC-V architecture, delivering high performance and usability at a fraction of the cost and power consumption of today's solutions.

In less than 2 years we have grown the team to 110+ game changers in 15 countries, raised USD 40+ million and we have launched our first product line.

We are looking for a seasoned CFO to join our team and help us raise new investment rounds and bring the company to an initial public offering (IPO). As CFO, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of the company and managing the financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and expansion
Support CEO to raise new large investment rounds (>> Euro 50 million) and lead the company to an IPO in 3-5 years time
Oversee financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
Manage and improve financial systems and processes
Monitor and analyze industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth
Provide financial advice and guidance to the CEO and the Board of Directors
Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, bankers, and analysts

Qualifications:

Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a CFO or similar role
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
Experience raising large capital and leading a company through an IPO
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
