Position Overview & Specifications
Principle Job responsibilities
- Field based customer facing engineer, delivering IT services to client’s requirements.
- Carrying out other duties as directed by the Operations Manager.
Responsibility and Authority – Full Training will be Provided
- Attending customer sites to diagnose and repair physical faults on PC’s and Lap-tops.
- Ordering replacement parts for repairs using the clients online portal.
- Recording repair information onto Inventory Systems and maintain Devices inventory records.
- Ensuring all customer deliverables are carried out and recorded as required.
- Ensuring all AVC One HSE procedures and documentation is adhered to and completed as required.
- Ensuring that all responsibilities are met in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
- Understanding the need for confidentiality when dealing with both internal and external information.
- To complete and keep updated the standard minimum AVC One competences requirement and customer specific training.
Skills / Experience - Requirements
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
- Good PC skills with knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Must be able to work to very high standards and liaise with clients and managers daily.
- Ability to work on your own to fault find and resolve onsite issues, but also able to work as part of a team.
- Ability to build and develop relationships and communicate with internal and external customers of all levels.
- Good time management skills, flexible and able to work varied hours if required.
- Previous customer services experience, preferably in an IT service delivery environment would be an advantage in this role.
- Current valid driving license essential (access to a company vehicle will be provided)
- Lenovo AWSP certification would be desirable but is not essential as full training will be given as part of the induction.

Salary: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
