Role: Graphic Designer

Salary: £22,000 - £26,000

Location: Southampton (on-site)

This role is responsible for developing graphics and visual designs for both online and offline marketing activities and the post holder will be an individual with knowledge and experience in graphic design and digital marketing, as well as possessing a natural creative flair with an eye for detail.

Working alongside the marketing team to produce design work for all aspects of the business; this role will specialise predominately in the physical marketing literature. Key responsibility for creating all branding associated with AVASK, adhering to the brand guidelines whilst also keeping the brand fresh and modern.

Responsibilities:

• Designing engaging and vibrant Marketing materials.
• Being an ambassador of the company brand, ensuring consistent design across all communication platforms.
• Work closely with the wider organisation to meet our design requirements.
• Assisting in the design of the companys digital presence, including generating content, updating our social media platforms and monitoring industry trends to ensure the highest standards of information and value are offered.
• Managing the look and feel of the companys physical media and collateral, ensuring its always compliant with our brand guidelines.
• Ensuring all design work meets campaign deadlines, and have assets created in a timely manner.
• Designing graphics to be used in physical literature and other assets, used at events and other marketing activities.
• Assisting in creation of animation videos for our digital marketing campaigns, so we can keep our network engaged and informed.
• Working closely with other internal teams, to drive alignment of programs, messaging and customer experience.
• Support the established Marketing department in the execution of marketing campaigns geared towards the growth and establishment of the companys online and offline presence.
• Ensuring appropriate checks, approvals and version control of all documents. Technical compliance is vital in all publications.
• Ensuring the approved departmental procedures are followed.

Key skills, knowledge and experience:

• Relevant Degree in Marketing or Graphic Arts Degree.
• Must have experience and be confident in using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
• Creative flair.
• We want someone with an eye for design who can create engaging designs using their own initiative.
• Able to prioritize workloads/effective time management.
• Someone who understands all aspects of marketing, public relations, digital and social media.
• Excellent copy-writing skills and knowledge of the concepts of marketing and print set up.
• Knowledge of document set up for digital and physical material.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, in a fast pace and dynamic environment.
• We are looking for someone who is flexible and can adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
• Excellent eye for detail.
• High standards while keeping to deadlines.
• Good understanding of AVASKs services and e-commerce.
• Bi-lingual ability is a benefit.
