Mobile Cleaning Operative (37.5hrs)

The Company

Aspin FM Ltd is a family run business, located on the outskirts of Bury. From this location we provide cleaning and facilities services to approx 50 clients and 70 sites across the North West. The Role

The requirements of the Mobile Cleaning Operative role is to provide absence and holiday cover for our on site operatives, attend sites to improve cleaning standards and support the Account Managers in their role of providing our clients with exceptional standards . You will be contracted to approx. 37.5hrs of cleaning services per week , working Monday to Friday. The cleaning hours could be early mornings, during the day time or early evening as required for the needs of the business. You will be provided with a company van and fuel card to enable you to travel to the sites in question. Our sites are located over an area from Leeds to Northwich , however the majority of our sites are around the Bury, Blackburn, Rochdale, Bolton , Stockport and Manchester area. There would be occasional weekend work but this would be planned in advance and be paid at an extra rate , over and above the salary amount. You will be provided with full training and shown a selection of the sites within the portfolio so you are familiar with the type of locations we service

The Hours

Monday to Friday 8hrs per day , including 30 minutes unpaid break. Most of the work will be pre-planned and scheduled however you must be willing to attend sites early morning or asap should an operative call in sick. There will be the opportunity to have some time off during the day if you are scheduled to cover an evening shift however none of our sites work past 8pm or start earlier than 6am. Flexibility is required as there may be occasions when you will work more than 37.5hrs one week, however through time management we would assist in reducing the hours the following week to ensure that you are only working your contracted hours on average. Should weekend work be required, you will be paid at an enhanced rate over and above your regular weekly rate.
