Live - in PA/Carer/Graduate/Support Worker to a Young Disabled Student - Birmingham

Hours - approx: Live in – 7 days on / 7 days off

Start Date: ASAP

Pay rate: £130 per day.

Our client is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant. She is in her second year at University, She is studying English and Creative writing at the University of Birmingham.

Our client will require your help with everyday tasks such as Personal care, dressing, cooking food, cleaning, and support around university.

She will need support with all aspects of her care but most importantly, the support to live independently at university! Attending events, trying new recipes to cook as she is an adventurous eater and loves marvel movies!

Prior care experience is not required, all training will be provided but some experience is preferred.

About You

You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client's care therefore full training in his particular needs is provided. An ideal applicant’s requirements are:

·You will need to be physically fit, calm, patient and caring

·Full UK driving licence is desired

·Confident in driving

·Fluent in the English Language

·Enjoy Social events, work and University

·Can carry out domestic tasks such as cleaning, ironing, washing and Cook

·Reliable and trustworthy

·Provide ‘on call’ cover for absent colleague

·Non-Smoker

·You must be able to respect our client's privacy and have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of your work.

·Good organisational skills and being able to work on your own initiative

·Have a good sense of humour

·A mature and responsible attitude

·Excellent hearing and communication skills

·Be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.
