Head of Security operations

Due to business growth Ashridge Group are seeking an experienced Security Manager to manage our Operations Department at our Head Office near Leighton Buzzard.

The Head of Security Operations will manage all operations and report directly to the Managing Director.

Your role will be to maintain the high standards of service delivery in line with Security regulations and site instructions to ensure the teams are providing an outstanding customer experience to all, you will also manage key clients with the agreed KPI’s. Therefore experience of ACS and ISO audits and an understanding of the British Standards 7858 and 77499 will be beneficial.

Whilst Managing the security contracts you will also manage the budgets within the department ensuring the contracts are maintained within the contract costs and renegotiate contract terms with the key clients.

Have experience in tender and proposals which also include presentation skills.

The successful candidate must be a hardworking individual who is motivated and passionate about exceeding our customer expectations. Your objective will be to assist the Head office team in providing excellent customer service, reporting back to the Head of Operations.

Location: Soulbury (LU7 0JL)

Pay Rate: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Hours: 48 Hours per week

Company Car: Yes or option for Fleet vehicle available

Duties include:

- Managing and directing the Operations Team including team 1-2-1 and mentoring

- Assisting with new business from proposals/ quotations to presentations

- Mobilisation of new contracts

- Conducting regular site visits with our employees and clients

- Managing key clients, their KPI’s and monthly, quarterly and Annual reviews

- Assisting with recruitment and conducting interviews

- Completing risk assessments / Assignment Instructions

- Compiling reports for the Directors

Requirements:

• [Essential] Valid Door Supervisor SIA Licence
• [Essential] Excel skills
• [Essential] Valid Driving Licence
• [Preferred] Level 3 Award in Security Management
• [Preferred] First Aid Trained (Certified)
• [Preferred] Experience in the security industry
• [Preferred] Excellent customer service skills
• [Preferred] Clear and direct commutation skills [Written and verbal]
