School Counselor

Arden Education are working with a Secondary Academy who are seeking to appoint a School Counsellor to provide a high-quality counselling service to their students, responding to social, emotional or educational concerns. The role will work alongside the pastoral support teams aiding the outcome of excellent teaching and learning for all students.

Our ideal candidate will work collaboratively with relevant staff making them aware of any adversities experienced by students and to make recommendations as to how these may be managed/resolved, as appropriate. The ideal candidate will offer pupils, a comfortable, safe, non-judgemental and confidential space to voice and explore their thoughts, feelings and worries, along with complex experiences and personal concerns and difficulties.

Previous school experience would be an advantage.

Qualifications - Psychology, Counselling or related studies

GBP £29,964 per year(Term Time Only)

Full Time, Permanent

Start date - 01/09/23
