American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the Global leader in the Commercial Payments Solutions space and continues to be an exciting and fast-growing business. To maintain this success, the organization must accelerate sales and drive profitable charge volume growth. The Global Sales Enablement, Pricing & Transformation (SPT) team within GCS is instrumental in ensuring achievement of these objectives. The Analyst position within SPT offers you the opportunity to be part of this multifaceted organization and help GCS navigate towards growth.

The Training Analyst will leverage data, performance insights, and internal customer feedback to identify training needs across the sales and client management lifecycles. The Analyst will support and improve the training strategy to meet internal customer needs and help reinforce trainings. The successful candidate will be a top performer able to deliver on an effective training plan for the professional development of Colleagues across all segments of Global and Large Enterprises.


How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Support analysis of the learning journey for Global and U.S. Large Enterprises, Sales and Account Development Colleagues to drive outstanding performance of both front-line teams (new hires and tenured) and leaders, including innovation of curriculums, training delivery, and reinforcement
  • Strategize and align with director and manager on Continuing Education needs and topics
  • Help team with processes that will scale to meet the demands of a growing Sales organisation
  • Partner with our Learning & Development Centers of Excellence to source, develop, and customize content based on role and/or the segment’s training needs
  • Analyze how to evolve training materials, topics, and delivery methods
  • Assess effectiveness of learning experience by using business performance to evolve the training plan over time

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong written, presentation and oral communication skills
  • Ability to lead complex projects
  • Experience with developing successful programs to accelerate the performance
  • Ability to identify learning and performance improvement needs
  • Experience using and implementing new digital capabilities
  • Business orientated and results driven
  • Outstanding relationship building skills with demonstrable record of effectively collaborating, partnering, and advising leaders
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence at all levels
  • Innovator - not afraid to challenge the status quo
  • Proven track record excel in a complex, fast paced, multi-team environment with constantly evolving business demands
  • Enthusiastic, fun, flexible and demonstrates a eagerness to learn!
  • Expectation is to be in office 2-3 times per week
