Position Overview & Specifications
We are looking for experienced support workers to join our amazing team who exclusively support our client ”K”, who is a female in her mid-thirties.
Our client has an acquired brain injury but that hasn't stopped her getting the most out of life. she loves shopping, singing and dancing, and has a wicked sense of humour. Additionally she enjoys attending festivals, going to the cinema and going on holidays to foreign countries. K is also very creative and loves art.
The right candidate will need a sense of fun and enjoy being busy and active, if you are a caring, fun, outgoing and reliable person then this might just be the job you're looking for. You must be flexible and have a full driving licence as our client has her own vehicle which you will need to be able to drive.
The role involves you helping K get the most out of her life, this includes assistance with all personal care routines and helping with attending appointments, shopping and working as part of a larger team of support workers and therapy professionals.
Shifts will include weekdays, weekend days and possibly some night shifts.
Full time workers are required however, part time hours (minimum 16 hours per week) are available for those interested however there may be more hours available, Rate of pay will be £13 per hour weekdays and £14 per hour weekend days, night shifts will be paid at £85 per weekday sleeping night and £95 per weekend sleeping night
