Finance Assistant

You will spend one year in three different areas of the finance team: accounts payable, accounts receivable and management accounts. You will be part of a motivated and dedicated team, supporting the wider business and working closely with worldwide customers. Across the three year, tasks and duties will include:

• Ensure supplier invoices are processed and paid within agreed timescales
• Reconcile cashbooks and run month end reports
• Learn and use credit control skills to assist the existing team in resolving aged debt and queries
• Assist in dealing with questions and calls from customers, suppliers and auditors
• Support the management accounts team in the month end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist in coding invoices and monthly cost centre reviews
• Provide general support to the finance team as required in resolving queries and analysing data
