Focused on alternative investments and financial services, we help clients deliver operational excellence through expertise in structure, process and technology.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p> <p>Alpha Alternatives is seeking a Consultant to join our Finance &amp; Operations (“FAO”) team. You will be focused on the implementation of leading technology solutions such as FIS Investran, Allvue (Equity and Credit), eFront and LemonEdge and providing operations advice relating to core fund administration and accounting requirements. You will apply your skills across the Financial Services industry and functional areas, work in flexible engagement teams, directly with senior leadership, and partner closely with other Alpha Alternatives service lines on strategy and roadmap development, assessments, and execution.</p> <p>The team’s primary objective is to design, develop and implement operational and technology improvement strategies to reduce operational costs, optimize business processes, reduce management risk and enhance portfolio value for our clients.</p> <p>This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an established and growing team, with the potential for great career growth and opportunity.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support project leads and project managers with Fund Accounting System Implementation engagements, and Fund Accounting Advisory engagements.</li> <li>Documenting business processes and data</li> <li>Work with both clients and Alpha Alternatives employees to support onboarding activities, related to data migration, reconciliation, testing, troubleshooting, custom reporting, etc.</li> <li>Developing detailed designs and documentation for</li> <li>Documenting business constraints and</li> <li>Creation of user testing strategies, plans, scripts, and participating in test execution.</li> <li>Defining and recommending business process</li> <li>Identifying project issues/risks and recommending</li> <li>Serve as a point of contact for Alpha Alternatives’ clients throughout the lifecycle of an</li> <li>Develop client relationships at all levels of organizations and act as a trusted advisor to senior and executive stakeholders.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Experience &amp; Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 3 years’ experience in the finance or asset management</li> <li>BA/BSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent work experience is</li> <li>Experience in Fund / Investment Accounting or other fund administration is a plus.</li> <li>Experience with financial systems, including but not limited to Fund Accounting, Investor Portals, CRM, etc.</li> <li>Working knowledge of; FIS Investran, Allvue System, LemonEdge, a</li> <li>Experience in management consulting or other consulting is a plus.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Skills and Attributes</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to demonstrate deep understanding of fund or investment accounting</li> <li>Understanding of data migration activities from source to target system.</li> <li>Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel and</li> <li>Strong attention to detail, creative/independent thought and proactive problem-solving</li> <li>Strong client-facing communication and analytical</li> <li>Understanding of process design and</li> <li>Product knowledge across various asset classes, is a plus.</li> <li>Experience with Claude, Open AI or other AI tooling, is plus.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Our Commitment to Inclusion</strong><strong><br></strong>At Alpha, diversity, equity and inclusion are critical to our success.
