Senior Systems Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer in a challenging, dynamic, and high paced environment.

A key position is available for a Systems Engineer to work in this team developing new products and working on high profile proposal and study activities. The Systems Engineer will lead and support upcoming bids, provide systems engineering support on existing and upcoming projects and provide technical leadership for major studies and technology development activities.

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Occasional travel within UK

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

• Spacecraft System Engineering including modern payload engineering

or

• System performance modelling and/or mission analysis

ABOUT YOU

Experienced with:

• Spacecraft systems engineering (e.g. requirements engineering, satellite sub-systems awareness & other systems engineering experience)

• Mission performance modelling
• Mission analysis (e.g. experience with STK or similar)
• Understanding of RF systems (e.g. design challenges associated with RF circuits, information assurance and cyber security considerations)
• Digital signal processing (DSP), real time software and firmware/field programmable gate array (FPGA) design awareness.
