PHP Web Developer

AEROVOLT are seeking a skilled PHP/JQUERY/AJAX Web Developer to join our small dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing web applications using PHP, jQuery, and AJAX. We're looking for someone well-versed in front-end web development and familiar with popular frameworks but not essential. The candidate must also have experience working with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, jQuery, and AJAX
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure a consistent and user-friendly experience
• Develop and maintain database schemas, queries, and stored procedures
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development

Requirements:

• Experience in the aviation industry would be preferable.
• Experience in web development using PHP, jQuery, and AJAX
• Experience working with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

This is a full-time position for an initial fixed term 12-month contract. You will be required on occasion to visit airfields and liaise with additional 3rd party software developers using our API. The position will involve working both at our premises and remotely. Hours are also flexible as the position involves achieving key milestones over 9-5 hours.

Looking for a start in early August 2023.
