This is an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding CRO based in Nottingham who provides services to drug development and discovery programs to start ups all the way to medium sized biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. They are searching for a Skin Bioassay Scientist to join the team who will be involved in developing and performing cell-based skin models for client projects.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop and perform cell based and biochemical assays for a number of different projects.
• Support routine laboratory tasks as maintenance and operations.
• Involved in writing and following SOPs and health and safety procedures.
• Be involved in following regulatory guidelines.
• Provide written reports internally and externally.

What they are looking for:

• A PhD in Skin Sciences, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology or in an equivalent field.
• Experience with skin cells, 3D skins models and its application in cosmetic testing is essential.
• Experience with building and deploying assay systems.
• Experience with Imaging analysis software.
