About the role

The purpose of the Senior Analytics Analyst role is to provide actionable, data driven, insights to the business. The team are the ‘Front Door’ for end users into the wider Analytics Team (comprising of Analytics Analyst & Analytics Engineers), leveraging excellent stakeholder management and analysis skills to improve the outcome of business decisioning.

Contributing to the Presentation layer of our Data Stack ( BI reports, Presentation Layer, Kimball Models) the Senior Analyst role has a significant impact on the ability of the organization to access information and insights.

They work closely with the Organization to understand Business Issues which require reporting or information, translate these into requirements , then working alongside Analytics Engineers, deliver solutions.

What you'll be doing

Influence

  • Mentor/coach Analytics Analysts and Associate Analytics Analysts to provide the most appropriate solutions for the business
- Own & Lead on projects within Analytics which enhance the data stack-
  • Support the team by owning and managing escalations
  • Contribute to the design of the presentation layer utilizing Kimball Star Schema

Analytics

  • Build working relationships with stakeholders and clients internally to successfully deliver against project based activities.
  • Take the lead on designing analytics and insights solutions to address complex and challenging business questions, problems and needs.
  • Manage complex projects within the analytics and wider team whilst using recognised project management methodology to achieve successful delivery
  • Explore data to identify new patterns and trends
  • Support the delivery of timely and accurate reporting to aid operational management and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with Data and Analytics Engineering teams to facilitate self-service analytics and maintain high data quality throughout.
  • Reviewing Other Team Members Change Requests.

What we're looking for

  • Good working knowledge of SQL
  • Stakeholder Management Skills
  • Enjoys Problem Solving
  • Business Analysis Skills (Can take an idea and translate to a Tech Spec)
  • Basic knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau etc
