Sewing Machine Operator

We're currently looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is passionate about his or her work, takes pride in creating products that are high-quality and helps the rest of the team meet its deadlines. The candidate should have prior experience working in a manufacturing environment, strong communication skills and be someone who can quickly resolve any issues that arise.

A skilled sewing machine operator should be meticulous and detail-oriented to have good manual dexterity, focus, and patience, as well as the capacity to remain composed under pressure. The role requires a capacity to evaluate quality or performance; the capacity to build on one's own understanding of manufacturing operations and procedures; and the capacity to collaborate effectively to be capable of performing simple chores on a computer or portable device.

Duties of a sewing machinist include adhering instructions, assembling various textiles, such as cotton, wool, leather, or industrial textiles, drawing threads through the machine and adjusting parameters for various jobs, sewing clothing, samples, or other objects together, comparing completed work to the pattern directions and conducting quality assurance inspections.
