Auditor - Fast Food

Acorn is currently recruiting for an Auditor

This position is working with our international client who have recently secured contracts to audit fast food outlets in the UK including Krispy Kreme sites. The role covers various locations and you will be paid per audit plus additional pay for training, expenses and travel will be covered by our client.

You will complete around 200 audits per year, potentially 3 in any 1 day, therefore this is a part time role and would ideally suit someone who is currently self employed or a contractor looking for additional work.



Job function:

• Complete 100% of the assigned audits, complying with the schedule of visits, distribution of days and stipulated times, applying the criteria and promptly communicating risk or closure situations.
• Schedule the routes to comply with the audit plan, request the necessary travel expenses and carry out the corresponding check
• Comply with the calibration program and activities by brand.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and comply with 100% of assigned audits.
• Comply with sending the audit Schedule.
• Comply with the established visiting schedule
• Carry out a detailed planning where the distribution requirements of days and hours are considered.
• Correct request for budgets to meet the visits of the month, within the date agreed with the team, following the company's Expense Policy
• Need to report on time the travel expenses
• Follow the Uniform and Hygiene Policy, personal appearance and all the guidelines established.
• Comply with the policies, procedures and records of the Information Security Management System.
• Communicate pest notices or closure protocols in a timely manner to the brand coordinator for notification to the client, in real time.
• Participate in training and calibrations in accordance with the criteria established by the brand.
• Stay calibrated at each Brand. In case of miscalibration, comply with shadow visits, training and evaluations.
• Together with the coordination, establish action plans based on the results of performance indicators.
• Have a good attitude with: members of the auditing team, coordinators and other people with whom you have internal contact, as well as with clients.
• Must be punctual, have a sense of urgency, maintain clear and effective communication, be proactive, cordial and have a sense of team.

Knowledge:

• Training in Food or related. Nutritionists, Food Engineer, Food Chemist, tourism administration or related
• Experience in food audits, Quality Management Systems, plants, canteens and/or restaurants
• Hygienic Food Management
• Management of Office, Excel, Word
• Management of electronic devices, web pages, email.
