Let’s tell you about the Role.

Develop and implement the annual plan for a handful of pre-agreed landmark organisational level events and activities including our annual Heroes Awards, Achieve Together’s got talent, and our regional Driving up Quality events.

Build a year-long calendar of smaller physical and virtual events for central support and leadership teams that are co-owned by the organisation (i.e., facilitate the plans and ensure there are things happening), focussing on our values of ‘Having Fun’ and ‘Valuing Everyone’. You will do this by creating a network of people who have this in their DNA and who can be encouraged to be leaders of these values.

Ensure we shout about what we are doing and can demonstrate improving employee engagement scores across central support and leadership teams through to Regional Lead level, for a cohort of people who work entirely remotely alongside over 450 homes and services nationwide.

To be successful in your role as our employee experience and events lead, you should love leading large events, have proven skills and experience in improving employee engagement. You will be experienced in developing a strategy and key performance targets; and be confident in your ability to plan, and design processes which will be executed against strict timelines; work well with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Let’s Hear About You.

  • Event management experience
  • Professional experience in corporate culture, employee engagement, management consulting, PR or HR and other related fields.
  • A proven track record in project management, planning, presenting and communication skills across multiple online and offline channels.
  • Have excellent strategic understanding, be logical and analytical, good at effective communication in complex environments.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a national environment.
  • Ability to cultivate positive relationships with cross-functional partners and executive leaders.
  • Readiness to work outside fixed business hours if necessary (e.g., mornings, evenings, and weekends.) supporting events.

Passion for positively shaping lives just as important to us as your experience. So, if you want to start, or continue your career journey with us, we want to hear from you. Be part of our team, Sharing Moments. Shaping Lives.
