Position Overview & Specifications
We are looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist to join our team for a full time maternity cover position starting in July 2023.
The Dental Receptionist will work ‘front of house’ in a Private dental practice, as the first point of contact over the phone or on arrival. You will be responsible for booking in new patients, greeting visitors, sorting out appointments and undertaking other non-clinical tasks of an administrative nature.
Duties and responsibilities of the role include:
- Contribute to the smooth running of the practice;
- Diary management and booking systems;
- Oversee incoming and outgoing laboratory work;
- Patient communications;
- General administration tasks, such as emailing, scanning, printing and sending forms;
- Handling payments including dental finance applications and end of day reconciliation.

- Ability to work under pressure;
- Ability to recognise areas of improvement and implement change as necessary;
- Friendly, sensitive and good humour;
- Team-work oriented;
- Computer literate;
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Previous experience with Exact Software of Excellence is preferred however, full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Previous experience as a dental receptionist and knowledge within the dental industry is preferred for this role however, full training will be provided to the right candidate.

Salary: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
