JOB: Assistant Buyer
Location: North London

A new position has emerged to join a leading wholesale and exporter based in North London as Assistant Buyer. This role has been designated as a progression step for the for the right candidate. Abra Wholesale, an incredibly driven and dynamic organisation which is highly recognized and established within the industry, is therefore seeking a motivated and dedicated purchasing assistant to support the current procurement and sales team.
Role:
This is a key role within a small and dedicated team. You will be responsible for many key aspects of the buying functions and its administration which has a direct impact on the success and profitability of the company. You will be actively involved with other team members at all levels including senior management plus contact with the suppliers and customers
Key Responsibilities
· Provide full administrative support to the purchasing team
· Ensure all pricing and product information is up to date on the database
· Maintain an accurate database of supplier contact information including any special requirements
· To ensure all purchase orders inputted into the system are accurate
· Issuing order confirmations to suppliers
· Buying & stock management
· Investigate stock variances
· Negotiating with suppliers and customers
· General Administration and other ad hoc duties assisting the purchasing and sales departments
The Candidate
· Must have some Supermarket experience
. Previous experience working within the FMCG retail/ procurement and sales team preferred
· Strong numeracy and literacy ability
· IT literate including good working knowledge of Excel
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to work well within a team environment
· Job Type: Full-time 40 Hours/ Week
. Salary: Upto 25K + Bonus

Salary: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
