Position Overview & Specifications
This is an exciting opportunity to join a PCN in North London providing high-quality care to around 40,000 patients. The PCN covers three GP sites two of which are approved training practices.
Your role will require you to participate in all aspects of patient care through knowledge gained from your Physician Associates training. You will be required to work autonomously in the practice, providing a range of services such as assessment, diagnosis, treatment, telephone triage, clinical decision-making and referring patients appropriately, as well as supporting the management team in the reviewing of clinical policy and procedures when required. You will also review patient documents and pathology results and assist in maintaining patient records. You will be working as part of an allied healthcare professional team including Pharmacists, Paramedics, Nurses and Healthcare Assistants, and will be supported and supervised by a GP.

Applications are welcome from qualified Physician Associates with one to two years’ experience of working in a GP practice but newly qualified will also be considered for this role. You will have completed the Physician Associate Postgraduate Diploma/Masters from an accredited UK university and passed the Physician Associate National Examination.
