Machine Mover/Lift Supervisor/Mech

We're currently looking for an experienced machine mover/lift supervisor based out of our Fareham Depot

You will become a vital team member within our skilled machinery moving/lifting/transport/Mech teams responsible for carrying varied contracts within the Lifting & Transport industry.

You will work on Lift and Shift type projects using all manner of plant and equipment as well as Contract lifts working with cranes & Lorry Loaders of all types and sizes.

We are looking for candidates who are motivated and keen to undertake Continues Professional Development, Adhering to Quality, Health and Safety Environment regulations,

Day to Day Task can include

• Machinery moving
• Contract Lifting
• Complete necessary paperwork in line with the companies set procedures
• Machinery Removal/Installation
• Enabling Works
• Assisting our Mechanical Engineers
• Assisting with the fitting or stripping out of plant rooms

About You

To succeed as a machine mover/lift supervisor you will bring the following skill-set Experience of machinery moving

• lifting using jacks, skates, chain blocks/pull lifts, forklifts etc •
• Some mechanical engineering experience – dismantling/assembling (Optional but preferred)
• CSCS Qualifications in following categories Slinger/SignallerForklift Truck (Optional but preferred)Lift Supervisor (Optional but preferred)
• IPAF (Optional but preferred)
• Good Understanding of method statements and risk assessments
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Attention to detail and accuracy when completing paperwork
• A good understanding of the fundamentals of general handling and lifting
• Good communication skills – to clients and colleagues

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
