Production Planner

Overview
2fawcett are recruiting for a Production Planner to join an industry leading manufacturing business in Leicester, on a full time, permanent basis. An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an individual to work within a motivated and pro-active Planning, Inventory and Logistics team where you will manage the daily scheduling and production activity of existing and new assembly lines or allocated production processes within the Industrial Plant.

Responsibilities of the Production Planner
* Work within a motivated and pro-active Planning, Inventory and Logistics team.
* Manage the daily scheduling and production activity of existing and new assembly lines or allocated production processes within the Industrial Plant.
* Ensuring on-time customer delivery and satisfaction for customer demands through the successful use of SAP and AMS+.
* SAP Management and operation.
* Capacity management of work centres and managing the effective communication of information.

Requirements of the Production Planner
* SAP Knowledge - MM is an essential skill required.
* SAP - PP / WM knowledge is desirable as is previous manufacturing control or planning experience and inventory control and/or cycle counting.
* Previous new product introduction and release to production experience is beneficial.
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills and attention to detail focus.
* Drive projects to completion and develop VPS improvements in line with the process improvement.
