Factory Cleaner

We currently have permanent opportunities for Factory Cleaners to join our team in Willand, Devon.

• This post is working Days
• The hours of work and shift patterns are: 05:00 - 17:00, 4 days on, 4 days off.
• The rate of pay is: £10.50 per hour

Our Factory Cleaners are an essential and valued part of our production team. Your key responsibilities will be to work within a team to:

• Clean the factory and machinery to a high standard - full training and PPE will be provided
• Maintain up to date records of the cleaning routine
• Comply with all company policies and procedures

Our ideal candidate will

• Have good attention to detail and a positive, 'can-do' approach.
• Be passionate about maintaining the cleanliness of our production areas
• Be comfortable working in an environment which processes raw meat

Experience working with chemicals and/or in a factory environment would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.

UK Poultry represents more than half of 2 Sisters’ business by sales. The division employs over 8,500 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to consumers via major retailers. Our colleagues work across ten primary sites across the UK, where chickens are transported from nearby farms for processing and at our cutting sites prepared for portioning, deboning, and filleting. UK Poultry predominantly produces private-label products for major retailers. We know our proficiency is in processing, so we work with experts in other fields such as: hatching, farming, animal husbandry and transport to ensure that our supply chain is as effective and efficient as possible.
